On 28 August 2015, Dr. Dinusha Mendis was an invited speaker at Plymouth Law School’s one-day workshop.
The event titled, ‘Valuing Knowledge, Creativity and Innovation: Relating Corporate Social Responsibility to Copyright Law’ considered the prospect of practising Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in relation to copyright, where similar ideas of corporate social awareness have already applied to other areas of intellectual property protection.
Dr. Mendis explored the issue from the angle of emerging technologies and gave a presentation on ‘Printing the Future: Is there a Need for Regulation? The Copyright Implications of 3D Printing’.
